Ironic that there is a lawsuit over whether or not a famous ex-CIA operative can publish in her memoirs information that was already declassified, that the agency apparently wants to re-classify; information which was in an unclassified letter from the agency to the individual, that later was incorporated into the Congressional Record. You can’t get much more public than that; unless, of course, it also shows up in the New York Times:

The letter said that Ms. Wilson had worked for the government since Nov. 9, 1985, for a total of “20 years, 7 days,” including “six years, one month and 29 days of overseas service.”
